We have an immediate requirement with our direct client and the details are as follows.

Job Role: Hadoop Developer 

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Duration: 6 Months

 

Hadoop Dev (Spark / Hbase / NoSQL --- MarkLogic / streaming technologies)

Job Description:

UNIX, SQL, Big data technologies (HBASE, HIVE, MAPR, SQOOP, PIG Splunk, and Talend), Demonstrated expertise in Java programs Frameworks in an Agile/Scrum methodology.

 

§  9 + years in the software engineering profession.

§  2 + years big data experience

§  Hands on expertize with UNIX

§  Hands on expertize with SQL

§  Hands on expertize with Big data technologies (HBASE, HIVE, MAPR, SQOOP, PIG Splunk, and Talend)

§  Demonstrated expertise in Java programs Frameworks in an Agile/Scrum methodology.

§  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

- Spring, hibernate, Websphere application server, RAD, Python scripting.
