Our client is looking for  Sr Java Developer at Shakopee, MN !! EAD / GC & Citizens only and LOCALS Only - 4+ Months Contract to Hire - Please share resumes to lucky@itstrategiesinc.com

This is a Contract to Hire position so need only EAD / GC & Citizens only. No H1b. LOCALS Must.

 

Position Overview:  The Senior Software Engineer will take an active role in the design and development of web application. This product is used to capture wide variety of biometric aspects including biographic data to establish a trusted identity for credential issuance.

 

Accountabilities:

Development (80%)

•             Design, development, testing and documentation of software

•             Assists in requirements analysis and refinement process on a regular basis

•             Assists in the estimation of work for the engineering group by defining task breakdown.

Process (20%)

•             Works within a team environment using Agile software development.

•             Develops plans and strategies with a global perspective in mind.

•             Follows software development best practices and processes defined for the project.

 

Basic Qualifications

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree;

•             7+ years' experience in Java/J2EE (Java 5,6,7) application programming

•             Strong experience with application design, development, and deployment.

•             Experience with one or more UI technologies

•             Experience building solutions for integration between heterogeneous systems.

•             Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information

•             Displays an understanding of the functioning of other departments within the organization.

•             Maintains a broad perspective and anticipates future challenges and opportunities.

•             Uses creative approaches to solving problems.

•             Ability to travel 10% - Some international travel possible

 

Technical Qualification

•             XML/SOAP/WSDL/REST/Ajax/JSON/HTML/JavaScript/Oracle 10g/11g, Apache Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, Apache CXF, JUnit, Hudson, Gradle, Eclipse

 

Preferred  Qualifications

•             Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree;

•             Experience with building .Net based applications

•             Experience with Web 2.0 technologies.

•             Experience building biometric based applications (Java or .Net)

•             Experience with building HSM based Security applications.

•             Experience with IBM Web Sphere or other J2EE servers is a plus

•             Experience with JBOSS workflow engine (or equivalent) is a plus.

•             Experience with Angular JS is a plus.
