Network Services Engineer –

4+ months located in Fort Worth, TX (near DFW Airport)

 

***Candidate will need to provide his or her own laptop

 

Info:

The main function of the Network Services Engineer is to support and manage multiple aspects of the Data Network environment. A thorough working knowledge of all services and tools is required

 

Services include:
DDI - Which includes DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
Infoblox
APM - Application Performance Management. Wireshark , Riverbed AppTransaction eXpert, AppResponse eXpert
Network Performance Management (NPM) - Monitoring and trending WAN circuits
SNMP
Netflow
VPN
NTP
Routing and Switching

Required:
5-7 years of experience required
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue

 

Cisco network switches and firewalls *	3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 3+ Yrs.
DNS *	5 (Expert) of 5 (Expert) and 5+ Yrs.
Networking principles *	4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 5+ Yrs.
Network Troubleshooting *	4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 5+ Yrs.
Service Now *	2 (Limited Experience) of 5 (Expert) and 1+ Yrs.
