We are looking for BI (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) Solutions Architect for one of our client at Minneapolis, MN. Please let me know your interest.

 

BI (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) Solutions Architect

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Required Skills:

·         Experience with database development/analysis

·         Experience with report writing and BI development experience (preferably with the MS stack including SSRS)

·         Hands on experience with reporting, SQL processes and Cubes (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)

·         Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server

·         Understanding of data integration problems, including validating and cleaning data

·         Knowledge of technical support of a server environment.

·         Server support in a Windows Environment is advantageous

·         High intelligence and intuitiveness to be able to quickly assess situations and decisively and effectively act and meet the agreed customer requirements

·         Sound analytical skills and some knowledge of financial models including accounting principles

·         Proven relationship building skills

·         Strong capability in problem solving and decision making

·         Well-developed interpersonal communication and coaching skills

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

 

Tasks

·         Drive technical strategy and roadmap Business Intelligence solutions for our business

·         Partner with internal clients to understand business needs, and translate into analytic and reporting requirements

·         Collaborate with business analysts and developers on the efficient use of Microsoft BI and other visualization tools

·         Design and lead Business Intelligence technology proof of concepts

·         Design and implement relational, columnar/tabular, and/or multi-dimensional data models and select the most effective methodology

·         Design and implement reporting applications

·         Design and implement data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within a DW/BI environment

·         Convert existing reporting tools to a standardized reporting infrastructure

·         Define and document the testing strategy for new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs

·         Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software

·         Performance tune applications as necessary

·         Some code reviews
