Responsibilities

- Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps
- Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
- Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments
- Solid experience working with development teams on the deployment of large volumn transaction based applications (Java)
Required Skills

- Atleast 5 years experience in Java and related technology.
- Solid experience with these Java platforms. Java 1.6 or higher, WebServices, JDBC and XML.
- Candidate should exhibit strong coding skills and have experience of recent application development.
- Software code management and Oracle database, 11G, is also a must.
- Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with business customers in an ongoing basis.

• Individual should have experience working with large volume applications.
• Individual must also have solid testing skills as they will be responsible for unit testing and system testing and assisting with UAT when required.
• Individual must be able to work well with the team, offering development assistance and asking for development assistance when needed. Personable.
