JOB TITLE Sybase Replication Server DBA/Developer
LOCATION Houston, TX
Duration: 6Months
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implementing and maintaining SAP Sybase Replication Solution
- Implementing and maintaining SAP Sybase Replication Server systems
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning of Sybase ASE systems
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning of Sybase Replication Server systems
- Supporting the design of physical relational and dimensional data models
- Upgrading existing Sybase ASE pre 15.x systems to Sybase ASE 15.7
- Migrating existing non-Sybase database systems to Sybase ASE
- All tasks will be performed at client sites or as a remote support service depending on the project
- Dynamic work environment with challenging project assignments
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Required to Travel
DESIRED SKILLS
- 5+ SAP Sybase ASE (SAP Sybase ASE 15.7 preferred)
- 3+ SAP Sybase Replication Server
- Experience with SQL Server a plus
- Experience with Oracle a plus
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication skills
