We have the following immediate job opening with a leading Credit Card (Direct) Client.

 

Job No. 1473

Title: BI Data Architect

Location: O'Fallon, Missouri

Duration: 6½ Months

 

Job Description:

·         The responsibilities of this function will include identifying the environment in which to build out BI Reporting data, the actual creation of the solution (whether a cube or mart), creation of the ETL process to populate the data, and recommendations in creating a scalable environment to support business needs.

·         The Data warehouse currently maintains data stores in Oracle, Netezza and SQL-Server repositories.

 

Experience:

·         The following experience is desired for this role:

·         3-5 years as a DBA and/or Microsoft BI data administrator.

·         Demonstrated experience working with business and technical teams to determine data approaches required to support business solutions.

·         Experience with Microsoft SSAS Cubes/Tabular modeling and SSIS package creation and data integration with SQL Server is required.

·         Experience working with large data repositories is desired.

·         Experience with Microsoft DAX and RDL is a plus.

·         Demonstrated experience with creation/maintenance of source data stores.

·         Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and support business intelligence applications.

·         Ability to manage multiple data projects is required.

·         Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business teams is required.

·         Experience with Oracle and Netezza data repositories is a plus.
