Exclusive Requirement for APPLICATION TESTER WITH ETL & DATA QUALITY EXP- New Jersey

Title: APPLICATION TESTER WITH ETL & DATA QUALITY EXP

Location: New Jersey

Duration: 6+ Months

Start: ASAP 

 

The Job Description is as follows:

-->Data Centric testing(L3)- Should be able to write SQL statements involving complex joins and grouping Should be able to understand the data model Should be able to create test plan based on Mapping document Ability to test at least one ETL (like Informatica or Data Stage) or BI tool (like BO or Crystal Reports) Ability to use a testing management tool.

 

-->Application Testing(L2)- Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.  Develops and executes software test plans.  Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.  Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.  Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Works on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment. Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/ guidance. Expected to further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise. May guide new members in the team to help them scale up faster.

 

-->Data Quality(L2)- Should have good knowledge of basic Data Quality concepts  Should have knowledge of the needs addressed commonly by all Data Quality tools, and the features common to all Data Quality tools  In at least 2 Data Quality tools, should have basic knowledge of the Data Quality tool, covering features common to Data Quality tools.
