I once had a class where a university professor said that poor
countries export their natural resources to rich countries who turn
them into manufactured products and then sell them to the poor
countries.
Exporting natural resources is not a good way for a country to get
rich or stay rich. I would prefer to use the natural resources of
other countries first and save ours for our children and
grandchildren.
