Job Title      :     Network Engineer

Location      :     Dover, NH

Duration      :     12 + months

Rate             :     $70/hr

US Citizen's only required... (NOT EVEN GREEN CARD)

Local consultants are highly preferred……

 

Description:

The following are the qualifications/requirements for the position.

• 8 or more years of industry experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures

• B.S. or M.A. in applicable degree related to computer science or engineering

• Cisco CCNA/CCDA and/or CCNP/CCDP certifications

• Experience with Cisco NEXUS (5000 and 7000 series) platforms, Cisco Wireless LAN (ISE), and Cisco Routers and Switches

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to ITAR requirements

• Must be able to work on-site at the client location in Indianapolis, IN

• Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence. Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.

• Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients

• Owns and produces customer documentation. Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form. Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answer specific RFP questions). Ability to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.

• Responsible for design, development, implementation using the Global Engineering specifications, methodology and practical application of ITIL practices and processes

• Experience designing and supporting networks for a Manufacturing Facility

• Experience with designing network WAN upgrades with various carriers

• Ability to set-up and perform sniffer traces to troubleshoot network related issues

• Skilled in performing Incident Support (as needed), Problem Management, and Change Management
