·         2-4 years of technical support, field or application engineering experience in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, AWS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Storm, Spark, Kafka or HBase

·         Programming experience in Scala, Java, Python and/or C++

·          machine learning, data structures, graph algorithms

·         Understanding of Hadoop file format, data transformation and compression

·         SQL

·         Linux/Unix

·          analytical and troubleshooting skills

·          customer facing, verbal and written communication skills

·         Experience in supporting cloud based technology a plus
