Title : Data Modeler for OTC Reporting

Location : Billerica, MA

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

 

Job Description:

The Principal Data Warehouse Modeler is responsible for defining and developing logical and physical data models that satisfy Client's financial and operational reporting, analytic and integration needs.

Responsibilities:

• Working with business subject matter experts and IT groups to document data attributes and requirements.
• Understanding and translating business needs into data models which support long term solutions.
• Creating logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
• Documenting logical and physical mapping definitions, data lineage and ETL requirements.
• Identify opportunities for standardizing data dictionaries, integration and archiving, and elimination of unnecessary redundancy.
• Help define robust design methodology, development process methodology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years' experience with data warehouse development, with at least 3 years' experience creating logical and physical dimensional, relational and hierarchical data models.
• Experience modeling financial data.
• Experience modeling clinical data.
• Experience using ER/Studio, Oracle, and Informatica (Powercenter, DQ, MDM).
• Knowledge of data governance, data linage, and reference and master data management processes.
