Java+UI Developer

Location: Delaware

Duration: Full time

Only GC and US citizens

Job description

• Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
• Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
• Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
• Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
• Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency

Responsibilities:

• Building cross-browser, responsive, and scalable HTML & CSS
• Working with CSS pre/post-processors such as LESS/SASS, build systems, module loaders, and dependency management
• Writing JavaScript applications
• Working with modular/scalable CSS architectures
• Working with Bootstrap / Foundation / Semantic UI or equivalent frameworks
• Working with AJAX, JSON and web APIs

Required:

• B.S. or M.S. in computer science, information systems, math, business, or engineering
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong business analysis skills
• Agile/Scrum methodology
• Developing portal solutions
• Web technology – Spring MVC, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON
• Experience using responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices
• Java
• Tomcat
• Repository – SVN
• Maven
• Unix/Linux
