The Sr. Project Manager will specifically run complex IT projects that are prioritized and assigned by the Child Welfare business area. Strong IT project management skills and Agile Scrum methodology is required to run and manage several scrum teams. This resource must have the ability to work in a matrix organization and must have good interpersonal skills to interact with multiple teams (in house development team, vendors' teams, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders).
Requirements:
· Knowledge of State of Michigan PPM's Process (or comparable PM practices) – 5 years, Required
· Knowledge of State of Michigan Project Management (SUITE) processes or comparable processes
· 5 years, Required
· Ability to handle multiple projects with sizes ranging from small to enterprise-wide ($100k - $2m +) – ----- 5 years, Required
· Government experience – 2 years, Highly Desired
· PMP Certified – 2 years, Highly Desired
· Project Management of deployment, development, experience with Agile Scrum – 2 years, Required
· Project Management experience working with multiple vendors and multiple project teams –
· ----- 5 years, Required
· Experience writing Statement of Work and Change Notices to contracts – 3 years, Highly Desired
· Must have experience working in a PMO environment – 2 years, Required
