Job Description

 

Experience working with Oracle's WebCenter portal product. They are looking for full stack Java / JavaScript developers that have worked with Oracle WebCenter.  That's not a product that we have experience with.   

Key tenets in this position include depth of experience in the technology formerly known as FatWire, purchased by Oracle in 2011. This position will be responsible for technical leadership, development, performance turning and educating others on best practices in the development and maintenance of this platform. 
Primary responsibilities include: 

• Proactively evaluating changes and enhancements to the Oracle WCS platform for objectives and technical impact. 
• Providing technical expertise regarding the maintenance of pre-production and production environments, to include performance and tuning Delivery and Management server stacks. 
• Documenting technical or systems design based on requirements, objectives and best practices. 
• Guiding the team on best practices in developing, maintaining and enhancing the Oracle WebCenter Sites platform. 
• Advising on the architecture and related best practices for Oracle WebCenter Sites. 
• Partner with other IT teams during integration activities to facilitate successful implementations 
• Communicating effectively with technical peers in a clear manner. 
• Ensuring team members understand and are learning to develop against and maintain the Oracle WebCenter Sites platform. 
• Performing Oracle WCS Administrative services and educate the team on best practices in that area. 
• Operating with a focus on automation and automated processes. 
• Guiding the team on cross-site standards, implementation of personalization and multi-language handling. 

Requires the following technical skills and experience to be considered: 

• Expertise in architecture of Oracle WebCenter Sites, to include design components, performance and tuning. 
• Experience in Oracle WebCenter Sites design, to include asset creation, template creation, workflow identification and creation and reporting. 
• Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle WebCenter Sites and associated web technologies like AngularJS, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSON and JavaScript. 
• 5+ years' experience in the implementation of Core concepts of Java, J2EETechnologies: JSP, Servlets, JSTL, JMS, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Java Beans, JDBC, XML, Web Services, JNDI 

The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following: 
• SiteMinder, LDAP authentication 
• Git, Stash, Bamboo 
• Agile
