Job Title: Build And Release Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: Contract
Skills Required:
- Should have good expertise of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell scripting on Unix, Linux, MacOS to accomplish environment setup, build, test, deploy,monitoring and reporting.
- Should have worked with SCM, Build, CI tools like Github, SVN, Jenkins, Maven and be comfortable with branching/merge strategies, release management and aspects of code coverage with Jenkins etc.
- Should be very comfortable in Unix/Linux background and should have very good handle on network, connectivity,admin level commands.
- Should be comfortable with all aspects of Apache and Tomcat configuration.
- Profile should be from a Java/J2EE background with strong inclination towards Scripting.
- Should have very good understanding of how Java/J2EE components are structured, packaged and also how they are set up in IDEs by integrating with SCM Tools. Should demonstrate experience in debugging build related issues in Java.
