Job Description:    

·         Work involves developing, evaluating, and managing numerous statewide cooperative information technology related contracts. 

·         Works with the information technology (IT) vendor community to meet customer IT goods and services requirements. 

·         Works under the supervision of the Cooperative Contracts Director.

·         Work involves developing, evaluating, and managing numerous statewide cooperative information technology related contracts. 

·         Works with the information technology (IT) vendor community to meet customer IT goods and services requirements. 

·         Works under the supervision of the Cooperative Contracts Director.

 

Requirements            Minimum Skills Requirement in years

Years  Skills/Experience

7         In-depth knowledge of state of Texas purchasing laws, regulations, procedures and contract management guidelines.

7         Working knowledge of negotiation strategies and techniques with proven ability to negotiate contracts that are acceptable to the vendor and provide best value to the state.

7         Working knowledge of standard terms and conditions for information technology contracts

7         Demonstrated ability to perform competitive and comparative cost analysis

5         CTCM and CTPM certifications
