Position: IT Quality Consultant - Senior 

Location:  Raleigh NC

Duration– 6+ months CTH

Responsiblities
1. Working collaboratively with product specialists and regulatory personnel to develop application specifications that conform to existing architecture. 
2. Developing, testing, and debugging application source code per specifications 
3. Manipulating application test/production data as required by the regulatory and product specialists 
4. Creating and assembling all components associated with product distributions 
5. Performing comprehensive QA review and testing of product distributions prior to release 
6.Participating in scheduled maintenance cycles for existing products 
7. Working with Client Support and directly with the clients to resolve reported installation issues 

Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio 

Must Have: 
-Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED  with 5+ years' work experience 
-4+ years of experience as Quality  Assurance Engineer 
-3+ years of release management / regression testing experience 
-3+ years' experience with automated testing tools and automation scripting 
-3+ years' experience with SQL Query and Schema 
-2+ years' experience with SoapUI, LoadRunner or other automated testing tools 
-2+ years' experience with automating API & interface testing 
-Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Nice To Have: 
-Experience with Visual Studio, C, C# and/or COBOL 
-Expertise in the software testing life cycle 
-Experience working in Agile Scrum environment 
-Working knowledge of HP ALM and Rally tools 
-Knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries to support validation of test results and creation /management of test data 
-Comfortable working with MS Excel and flat  text(.dat) files 
-Should be able to coordinate efficiently with the offshore team members 
-Ability to maintain a good relationship with peers and clients 
-ISTQB certification level will be an added advantage
