Excellent opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join a leading company in cloud-based data solutions in Alpharetta!

We are seeking a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to join our Emerging Technology team overseeing the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures for our growing infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you will configure and install various network devices and services (basic Routers, Switches, Firewalls, load balancers, etc.) as well as monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability. Design and implement integration with containerization and expand your experience (or great opportunity to learn) software defined networking (SDN) solutions! The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge with both infrastructure technologies as well as have a broad understanding across software defined technologies. Experience with SDN, load balancing, network, and concepts of Scripting (Python) is highly preferred as there will be a heavy focus on how these technologies are integrated using API's (JSON) and concepts that can be applied to automated infrastructure.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

5 years hands-on Cisco Network Engineering experience

Basic Linux Commands

Software Defined Networking (SDN) familiarity

Load balancing (F5/HAP roxy)

CCNP or higher

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Docker

Scripting (Python preferred)

CCIE and/or CISSP highly preferred

Bachelor's Degree
