Job Summary
Position entails a senior, expert-level WebSphere Application Server administrator who has experience as a technical project leader. The candidate must have experience in the planning, design and assessment of new & existing middleware infrastructures. They should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the middleware arena. They must have excellent communication skills, capable of conducting presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Their ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors is essential.

Years of Relevant Experience: 8 plus years - Demonstrate expertise in teaching / conveying technical and / or functional courses / concepts. - Develop appropriate work programs / budgets and use to effectively schedule tasks / assignments. - Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services / products. - Assessment/recommendations of on-site middleware infrastructure - Installation/configuration/administration of WebSphere Application Server ND 7.0, 8.0, 8.5.5 - Migration of WebSphere Application Server environments from one major release to another - Installation/configuration/administration of WebSphere MQSeries 7.x, 8.0 - Migration of WebSphere MQSeries environments from one major release to another - Installation/configuration/administration of DataPower Gateway 7.x appliances - Installation/administration/configuration of IBM HTTP Server or other web servers - Installation/configuration/administration of other middleware software on a Unix/Linux platform such as distributed DB2, PEGA BPM, IBM MDM, IBM Information Server, WebSphere Portal, WCM, Adobe Live Cycle/AEM, WebFocus, TAMIT, WebSphere Message Broker, Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus, ITM, CA Wily Introscope. - Develop Jython/JACL, wsadmin, Unix shell scripts - AIX administration - Implement SSL/TLS configuration and certification - Understanding of network security, firewalls, ADCs, VIPs, etc - Experience integrating with IBM Tivoli Directory Server and Microsoft AD/ADLDS - Experience integrating with IBM Webseal/Tivoli Access Manager/ISAM
