Senior Linux Engineer @ Marlborough, MA

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer - Linux - AWS – VMware

Work Location: Marlborough, MA

Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months

 

·         5+ years experience on Red Hat Linux and VMware - They are both a requirement

·         2+ years experience on AWS VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53,ELB, CloudFormation and CloudWatch - AWS experience is a must

·         Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Knowledege of storage platform XtremeIO and VNX this is a plus should have some knowledge of storage platforms we are using these system

·         Knowledge of tomcat, apache web server, load balancer is a plus

·         Maintain, patch, ensure stability of the system, upgrade and move the environments to AWS. Experience on developing automation code in SaltStack or Chef this is a plus prefer solid automation background

·         Having a coding background would be helpful

·         This person will be on call once every 3 weeks and it will be from 9am - 9pm.
