Job Title VBA Microsoft Developer(.Net)
Project Location VA-Virginia/Alexandria
Duration 6 Months
Mode of Interview: Telephonic +Face2Face
Clearance:
The candidate must also be able to pass a security background check, including a credit check. The clearance is a Public Trust level. Candidates with a minimum of an active Public Trust clearance are preferred
Responsibilities:
o Design, develop, maintain, and deliver highly scalable and reliable Microsoft Word 2013 applications that interface with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST API.
o Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to analyze, design, and implement user stories using an agile methodology.
o Write high-quality software code that complies with design specifications and meets development and support requirements.
o Develop unit tests and test changes using an agile methodology.
o Use a variety of tools to perform unit testing, automated builds, and source control.
o Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team member to review user stories, estimate and create sprint backlogs, participate in sprint reviews, demos and retrospectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Word experience needed or at least must have experience with custom form development, VBA form development or user form development
o Agile Software development process experience.
o Experience developing Microsoft Word 2013 applications using VBA.
o Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
o Experience in at least one of the following configuration management tools: PVCS, Subversion and build automation tools such as Ant, Maven, BuildForge or similar.
o Experience in at least one of the following integrated development environments: Eclipse, IBM RAD, or JDeveloper.
o Experience with a Java web-based application is a plus.
