Full Stack Java Developer

Irvine, CA

6-12+ months Contract

Need Locals….F2F interview is required

US citizens highly preferred

 

 JD:

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects for top global brands.  The Java Developer role is an integral member of our technical team, working on high-visibility and complex technical projects as a contributor on small teams.  The successful candidate will work alongside technical leads, developers, business analysts and project managers but will also be responsible for interfacing directly with our clients.  The candidate will stay up-to-date on the latest Java frameworks and methodologies and will collaborate daily to understand the overall business and functional flow of the applications they are developing.  Both front-end (CSS, HTML) and back-end (database, SQL) experience is required.  The ideal candidate will be very hands on and detail oriented.  They MUST have strong development and system integration skills.  

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Java development experience 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with large scale system development 
• Java, J2EE, JBoss, EJB3
• Spring 
• Java MVC 
• Database experience (SQL, postgresSQL, noSQL, Stored Procedures) 
• Demonstrated experience producing and delivering final assets using HTML5, CSS3, JSP andJavaScript frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
• Previous experience working in an Agile team environment using two week sprints for delivery of production quality code
• Proficient in key Java technologies such as Java, JSP, JSTL, Struts-taglib, Apache Tiles,Struts MVC
• Proficient in Spring MVC, Spring-taglib, Spring Web Flow and/or Spring Mobile
• Proficient in Responsive web design understanding (css media queries)
• Proficient in accessibility implementation using WGAC 2.0 and Section 508 standards
