Job Description

 

Splunk Developer – SAP

 

·         Minimum 5+ years of experience.

·         Expertise with java technologies.

·         Experience with Splunk dashboard integration with SAP and HANA/ BW/BI/ "Business Object".

·         Healthcare Domain Experience is preferred

·         Intense interest in enterprise technology

 

The Splunk Developer will be responsible to develop applications and interfaces to enhance operational performance and reduce operational risks for clients. The Developer will access and integrate data, design interfaces to integrate platforms using advance Splunk feature and capabilities.

 

·         Excellent analytical skills and a structured and rigorous approach to problem solving

·         Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

·         Broad knowledge and familiarity with the complexities, services, infrastructure components, applications, management tools, monitoring tools, data bases, middleware, processes, and data found in the typical complex enterprise environment

·         Comfortable and skilled utilizing, configuring and interfacing with enterprise monitoring systems

·         Proficient at installing, configuring, and managing Linux servers

·         Adept and utilizing Linux native commands and utilities: sed, awk, grep, syslog, rsyslog, tcpdump, vmstat, od, screen, rsync, top, others

·         Solid understanding and experience troubleshooting the common protocols found in complex enterprise environments: SSH, TCP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SSL, POP, IMAP, LDAP, SMTP, Telnet

·         Experience deploying servers in physical and virtual environments

·         Proficient with some combination of front-end and back-end development languages: Perl, Bash, Python, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
