MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance

Design, develop, and deploy user content (reports, dashboards,
subscriptions) via MicroStrategy Web and MicroStrategy Desktop
Tune MicroStrategy reports for best SQL performance to run efficiently.
Review and make enhancements to logical and physical database designs
as well as optimization for proper use with the BI platform
Create test plans and scenarios for development unit testing.
Work with peers to carry out unit testing of new development.
Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed.
Participate in data builds and deployment efforts.

Requirements:

5 Years of experience in designing MicroStrategy Business Intelligence
Reporting systems
5 years of experience in MicroStrategy schema definition, design,
implementation and maintenance
Thorough knowledge of the report development life cycle
Strong native SQL skills
Must have a clear understanding of BI, Data Warehouse operating
environments and related technologies.
Ability to coach and mentor others on the design, development, and
usage of the MicroStrategy product suite.
Strong experience in data warehousing concepts and techniques (e.g.
Kimball etc.).
Ability to complete the full lifecycle of software development and
deliver on time.
Ability to work w/end users to gather requirements and convert that to
working documents.
