Position: Automation QA Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas (downtown location)

Duration:        12+ Months

 

Description:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer for a long term contract opportunity in Austin, TX. You will join the QA Engineering team to apply your strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to help identify issues early on in the development process.
 
Candidates must thrive in a very fast-paced and Agile environment. You will have the opportunity to work at one of the fastest growing technology companies in Austin!
 
Responsibilities:

• Test user stories for incomplete information or incorrect assumptions and conclusions.
• Create, Execute, and Maintain manual and automated tests
• Document software failures and anomalies providing thorough detail to facilitate reproduction by developers, or work to identify root cause
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues

 

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in software QA for web and/or mobile apps
• Linux experience
• Experience working with automation tools like Selenium and Appium or solid scripting experience
• Working experience in a fast-paced Agile environment
