Role- Sr. MSBI developer

Location - Boston MA

Duration:6 Months

 

Technical Skills/Required:

•                    Strong SSIS/T-SQL programming, Performance tuning and debugging skills.

•                    Experience with Microsoft development tools and technologies including:, SQL Server, 2005, 2008, SSIS, MS Office Suite.

•                    Good awareness on DW architecture and design using MSBI

•                    Primary SSRS, SSAS, Secondary PowerPivot and SSIS

•                    Proficient in creating different types of cubes/schemas in Analysis Services

•                    Proficient in creating and testing new KPI's, perspectives and calculations

•                    Experience in creating SSRS reports from cubes

•                    Experience in PowerPivot and its Integration with SharePoint

•                    MDX Query Performance tuning experience.

•                    Candidate should be very strong in SSIS & SSRS mandatorily.

•                    Experience developing database solutions using database best principles/standards.

•                    Optional but not required:

•                    Java application development.

•                    Knowledge with batch script and VB scripting

 

Basic Qualifications:

•                    8+ years of overall experience with majority experience in multiple tools of the MSBI suite of products (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/Power BI (Power View, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power Map)/ PerformancePoint (on SharePoint)/MDS/DQS/Data Mining).

•                    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
