Title: SQL Developer with Microstrategy

Location: Charlotte NC

DESCRIPTION:

BI Developer with strong SQL and .NET skills. Ability to develop queries and reports in SSRS, Tableau and using VBA. Microstrategy experience a plus and Object oriented programming experience a plus.

Development of tools and databases using .NET Framework, SSRS, Excel, Access and SQL to meet project requirements for prototypes and BI tools like Tableau. IIS configuration experience also required.

·         Complete projects through the development of purchase data analysis and including self-service report development on centralized Oracle, SQL Server and Netezza databases development.

·         Identify data issues and / or the need for clarification of requirements upon receipt of analysis requests.

·         Define any necessary clean-up / formatting of data content in order for data processing to begin.

·         Support different analytical teams by developing and producing global analytical reports using databases and analytical tools.  Provide analyses that help fulfill contract performance goals through contract optimization, standardization, aggregation, and other methods.

·         This position will be challenged with recommending innovative and creative solutions to data problems and issues, look forward and globally rather than just analyzing pieces of data.  The candidate needs to be a team player with customer focus.

Note:

1.       Bachelor's degree in related field?

2.       How many years experience do you have developing queries and reports in SSRS and using VBA?

3.       How many years experience do you have working with Microstrategy (nice to have)?

4.       How many years experience do you have with Object Oriented Programming (nice to have)?
