Title: Senior Java Developer with retail and mainframe experience

 

Location: Cincinnati, OH,

Term: 6+ months

ONLY USC/GC

Interview method: Skype / telephonic

 

Essential Job Functions:

·         Develop JAVA code for a Kroger internal application, converting mainframe ADF transactions to Java delivered via a web application

·         Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions as needed

·         Cross train DSD Host team members in new application and technologies

 

Requirements:

·         Java, JavaScript Frameworks - Angular JS, Core Spring,  DB2, Maven, JDBC, Rest Web Services

·         IMS/Hierarchical database, with SQL and DLI experience a plus

·         Mainframe experience a plus

·         ADF (IBM Application Development Facility) experience a plus

·         Must have excellent communication skills
