Position: Hadoop Data Analyst

Duration: San Jose CA

Location: 12 months

Experience: 6 +

 

 

Primary skills:

 

Familiar with relational/NoSQL database systems such as TeraData and MongoDB.

 

Description:

 

This worker will be supporting the project (database migration) data quality auditing. They will provide technical solution in order to validate Risk data and decision quality.

Work closely with partners in development, product and business teams to review and understand technical solutions.

Perform business monitoring and data analysis to validate Risk management features

Proactively propose business requirement and possible solutions to address technical issues.

Develop automation scripts and tools to support Risk data certification.

 

Requirements:

 

At least 4 years work experience in a related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system.

Familiar with programming languages such as Python, R and SAS.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Familiar with relational/NoSQL database systems such as TeraData and MongoDB.

Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig and Hive.

Having experience with payment industry and risk management will be a big plus.

Knowledge of Business Rules is a plus.
