 Client  is seeking a QA Tester for the NC-MIPS development project. The candidate will assume a "QA Tester" role working as part of a small development team to document the test cases for a new development.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Thoroughly understand the  Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Program and the associated Attestation Systems, Transactions and workflows

* Evaluate the proposed and final rules received from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

* Ability to de-construct Business Requirements, create test plans & test cases for new and existing functionality

* Ability to update existing test cases and also to create regression test suite

* Execute test cases to test the new enhancements

* Test case migration, test case creation and test execution in HP ALM Quality Center

* Ability to identify, document defects and verify defect fixes

* Understand and follow HIPAA Privacy rule and Affordable Care Act's provisions

* Provide weekly status updates to management

* Work in a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks to best meet overall goals
