Position: System Analyst

Duration: 6 Months+

Location: Raleigh, NC

Client: State of North Carolina – Administrative Office of Courts

 

Project Description:

The project scope includes providing general support for a variety of applications supporting the North Carolina court system. Initially, this position will assist in documenting the results of requirements definition sessions. Additional duties may include analysis, design, testing and production support services.

 

Description of Work:

·      This position serves as a Senior Systems Analyst and will participate in requirements gathering and definition. This position may also participate in systems analysis design, testing, documentation and production support services for one or more applications. This position must interact with analysis, development, project management and end user staff associates with multiple projects. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. Expertise in the design and implementation of criminal justice applications is desirable. Responsibilities will include the following:

·         Analysis of existing system components

·         Review and documentation of requirements, Use Cases and designs

·         Development of documentation and communications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required skills

·         Familiarity with web application analysis and design.

·         Experience fully documenting requirements and design.

·         Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired skills:

·         Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, SQL)

·         Experience working in an ITIL –centric environment

 

Training and Experience:

·         Three+ years of progressive systems analyst experience working with large-scale, complex online systems
