Test Program Manager
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: Long term
Client: Banking
Only Fulltime. No Contractors can be considered here.
Job Requirements:
• Team player who is able to build strong relationships across the program - from developers through to business stakeholders.
• 3-5 yrs of Trading Life Cycle and/or financial domain experience required.
• 5-7 yrs or equivalent Test Management experience at the program level.
• Great Presentation/Communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels of management and tailoring communication to the audience.
• Strong ability to estimate, strategize, plan/execute the different testing phases (SIT, UAT, Load/Performance, and Automation) and mitigate any issues.
• Some experience with Automation concepts, enabling applicable benefit recognition and promotion of opportunities for such.
• Ability to manage test resources in an onsite-offshore team environment - sharing ideas and working collaboratively.
• Good experience in
o Managing fast paced, dynamic projects
o Managing testing team and allocating work on a daily basis
o Working across multiple application area and business teams
o Leading testing meetings and escalating issues
o SDLC/Agile process
o ALM as a Test Management tool
Technical and Domain Skills/Experience:
Qualified candidates experienced in any or all of the following are preferred:
• Database validation (Oracle preferred)
• Web Services (SOAP/UI Testing)
• XML Validation
• Swift Message types and validation
• Financial Accounting Systems
• Asset Servicing
Additional Skills:
• Positive & adaptable
• Ability to multi-task under pressure in a continually changing environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a process oriented environment
• Excellent coordination skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
