MUST have experience in Transportation or Inter modal or 3rd Party Supply Chain or Chassis or Asset Leasing
Project Requirements :
The candidate works in a dynamic, rapid application development environment. The business domain is asset management in the transportation industry. Relevant business knowledge is strongly desired. The candidate will be involved in various aspects of requirements gathering, business analysis, and project coordination. This will involve interactions with both internal business users and external customers/partners. Candidate must be focused, hard-working and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Document requirements according to established department standards using the following artifacts: (Functional Requirements Document, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Screen Mock-Ups/Prototypes, and Interface designs)
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
- Coordinate interactions between IT, the business users, and customers
- Champion IT standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's level degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field and 7-10 years relevant analyst experience
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong research skills with an attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail-Oriented individual
- Demonstrated success in a project team setting
- Team-Oriented
- Solid Work Ethic
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and Power Point
- SQL skills preferred
- EDI skills a plus
Required experience:
- Experience in transportation, 3rd party logistics, intermodal, chassis or asset leasing
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst, including research, requirements gathering, collaboration, and development & documentation of project requirements

Work Environment:
- This position requires long periods sitting behind a desk and performing tasks on a computer.
- This job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions.
- Tempo is fast-paced with stringent deadlines.
