Role: QA Tester

Location: Dayton, OH or Boca Raton, FL

Duration: 6+month contract

 

 

Must have QTP, Selenium and Automation experience

Experience with the following are ideal: XML, LoadRunner, WinRunner, xPath, xQuery, xSchema

 

Our client is looking for a very seasoned QA Tester for either Boca Raton, FL or Dayton, OH location.

 

The most important skills are:

·         QTP (5 years' experience)

·         Selenium

·         Automation experience

 
Other nice to have skills skills would be:
2 years of experience with:

·         Silk

·         XML

·         Loadrunner

·         Rational Requisite Pro

·         Winrunner

·         Xpath

·         XQuery

·         xschema

 
The Most Important are QTP, Selenium and Automation experience.
 
This is a senior position in Quality Assurance responsible for architecting performance and automation testing solutions. This position works with management to implement automation strategy and to plan and execute effective and efficient performance and automation testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high quality software products and/or data.
 
Education/Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required

·         5+ years' experience required

 
Qualifications:

1.       MS degree with computer science or engineering emphasis or equivalent.

2.       5+ years' experience in automation and performance tools and quality assurance processes. Experience in developing and implementing automation strategies, including creating utilities or applying available tools for the benefit of self and others. Able to develop maintainable, high-quality, and efficient automated scripts or performance tests that meet requirements.

3.       Proven testing skills demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality, complex projects on time, on budget, and to specification.

4.       Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to discuss issues and concepts with technical and business personnel. Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including management, engineering, operations, project management, product management, and QA staff.

5.       Ability to work through complex problems to reach a workable solution.

6.       Knowledge of large complex systems of diverse technologies and functions.

7.       Content expertise in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and process improvement experience. Experience with multiple test methodologies and ability to appropriately identify applications for alternative approaches. 8. Ability to work in multiple complex testing environments in order to test cross-platform impacts.

8.       Demonstrated expertise in innovating solutions to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency of self and others on the team
