.NET Developer with strong SQL

NYC

Mid-level 6-8 years

Locals only - F2F must

Client: financial domain

Financial experience required

 

 

Client intends to get on-board on a long term basis a developer with 5 to 7 years' experience in Microsoft technologies to assist with application development and maintenance mainly for the hedge fund business. The role requires the following :

 

1.     Excellent working experience in developing Windows forms and web applications in Visual Studio 2012; Expert level .net development skills (e.g. C# or VB.NET,ASP.NET, .NET framework 4.0 and above).

2.     Expert level working knowledge of SQL server 2005 or higher, fully hands on in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers; well verse in data modeling, table design, data types, table relationships, indexes and code performance tuning.

3.     Working knowledge of Excel Macro programming (VBA) is desirable.

4.     Good communications skills, strong aptitude in learning new systems and technologies, prior experience of dealing with direct business users is a big plus.

5.     Ability to write technical documentation to articulate technical design and implementation.

6.    Basic finance domain skills are preferred.
