Position: Business Process Analyst

Duration: 1 Year

Location:Boise ID

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform complex program analysis - evaluate, recommend and plan actions to create solutions or functions in Welfare automated systems

·         Coordinate the gathering and reconciliation of detailed business requirements and systems requirements for system development

·         Collaborate with business managers and specialists in policy and operations to ensure automated functionality meets business requirements, implementation parameters, readiness plan components, and timelines.

·         Collaborate with Information Technology staff and developers to ensure best practices, available technologies, and system improvements are understood and considered in automated solutions.

·         Participate in a team of individuals in the Automation Integration Bureau functioning as Business Analysts supporting development of several large automated systems within the Division of Welfare to ensure business coordination, alignment, and priorities drive automation development

·         Ensure documentation, testing, and communication of automation initiatives are completed

·         Coordinate automation related work across Divisions and their automated systems as needed to move data and support mutual business processes

·         Provide recommendations on viable improvements in automation development strategies and methods

·         Project Management of automation components of business initiatives

 

General Requirements:

Years of Relevant Experience: Two plus years of experience.

Preferred Education: Four year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Role Description: Skill and knowledge include but are not limited to.

·         Work with customer business units to understand their business processes.

·         Develops   performance metrics for successful business process management initiatives.

Does workflow design and process improvement.

 

Specific Skills Required:

·         Good knowledge of automation development strategies and methodologies

·         Good knowledge of organizational/business analysis and evaluation

·         Good knowledge of project management

·         Good knowledge of process improvement methodology

Experience with automation development (i.e. Agile development)
