Job Title	Windows Server Admin
Experience Required	4 - 6 Years
Technical Skills	Essential Job Functions : 1.     Monitor server/Active directory health and respond to issues 2.     Perform/manage installation of software on the server 3.     Perform/manage frequent patching related activities 4.     Should have comprehensive understanding of server backup and migration related activities. 5.     Monitor security events on server and respond to issues 6.     Should have comprehensive understanding of windows server security protocols and authentication methodologies. 7.     Maintain group policy structure to secure servers 8.     Design and monitor WINS, DNS, and DHCP services 9.     Comprehensive knowledge of windows services/tasks/processes. 10.   Should have skills to manage Windows IIS server and Client/server Applications 11.   Wide experience of Windows 2000 , 2003 , 2008 Servers installation, configuration & troubleshooting. 12.   Knowledge & Working Experience on the Intel based Servers 13.   Cluster Environment 14.   DNS, DHCP , Proxy Servers 15.   Active Directory 16.   Access Level Management 17.   File server administration 18.   Print Server administration 19.   OS Upgrade & patch management 20.   VMware environment 21.   Anti virus software and management 22.   Ticketing tool   Required Skills : 1. Rich knowledge on Windows server security, group policy, AD management installation of software, migration activities, server image/ backup. 2. Highly skilled at Windows server event management issues. 3. Rich knowledge of IIS and Client/server application 4. Strong customer service skills
Roles & Responsibilities	1. Flexibility to adapt and inculcate industry best practices as mandated by customer and TCS management. 2. Communicates continually with the client and project teams - Explains progress on the issues 3. Should analyze and communicate about various risks involved and their mitigation approach
