Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6-12+ months contract

 

Job Description:

 

Must have .NET experience

 

Describe the role: To provide accounting and technical support to AB's Insurance Clients and to communicate and deal directly with the clients.

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports: Internal to AB Support the flow of business and accounting data through various critical systems that consume insurance accounting (CAMRA) data. Includes the flow to and from CAMRA to downstream systems as used by Portfolio Management, Performance, Client Reporting, AXA Insurance Accounting, among other groups.

External to AB - Support the flow of Accounting data to AB Insurance Clients

 

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Two main responsibilities are (1) the on-going support and maintenance for all data interfaces for all investment vehicles between AB systems and CAMRA, and (2) the support and maintenance for the accounting reports for a select group of CAMRA client accounts.

What makes this role unique or interesting (if applicable)? This role requires a unique combination of Business and Accounting skills combined with a very high level of technical expertise. The role will challenge the candidate as we are planning to migrate fromPowerBuilder. The candidate will be involved in the strategic planning, decision making and actual conversion and testing associated with the migration.
