Title: Sr. SQA Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: bay area, CA
Description:
One of our clients, an impressive high-tech product Company, is looking for a Sr. SQA Engineer.
Responsibilities will include extensive testing across various product lines, working closely with product, marketing and operations team to understand requirements, create, execute, manage and report test plans, test cases and test reports.
EDUCATION:
- BS in Computer Science or relevant experience with emphasis on Quality Assurance
SKILLS:
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer
- 3+ years of experience working with 3-tier client-server based architecture platforms
- Experience in a SaaS environment dealing with significant scale
- Proven experience writing and maintaining automated test cases using Selenium and TestNG written in Java
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes and agile, experience in applying test methodologies, creating test plans, test reports, test cases, use cases and relevant tools and technologies.
- Proficiency with SQL for data integrity testing
- Experience working with Windows/MAC environments and good understanding of browser compatibility validations
- Experience with LINUX environments, build deployments, debugging & installation
- Creating detailed bug reports by performing root cause analysis and work with architecture, development and product teams to prioritize them
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Deep experience with continuous integration
- Git, Jira, Jenkins/Hudson, Selenium/Watir, TestNG/Junit, Gradle
- eCommerce domain experience
- Experience with REST services
- Mobile testing - Android and iOS
