Position: Java Developer

Client: Level 3      

Duration: 1 year contract

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Need GC only

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

 

Candidate Profile:

A candidate that has experience developing and supporting Telecommunications' Network Management Systems.

 

The individual must be a proven enterprise software/java developer who can work in fast paced environments with minimal supervision.

 

Job Description:

The Software Engineer in conjunction with the appropriate developer staff supports the National Operations Center (NOC) and company divisions by analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining OSS software applications that directly support operations

 

Familiarity with Agile methodology, test-driven development, source control management, and automated testing is required. Strong application development experience in java and other object-oriented technologies is needed. Candidate must be versatile in the technology stack

 

SKILLS:

•          Java, JBOSS, JDBC, JEE, C++ and Web services

•          Data architecture, data extraction, data modeling and integration design.

•          UNIX/Linux experience, and scripting skills (shell, Perl, Python, etc.)

•           Strong database skills (SQL, MySQL, ORACLE)

•          Understanding of TMN, FCAPS, eTOM, and OSS/j standards, is a plus

•          Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills

•          Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
