Job Description

•                     This position is critical for their team as it is replacing someone who not only had very strong skills in many technologies, but was also a mentor to other team members.   They want to be sure the person who replaces him is also very good. 

•                     We interviewed some candidates and aside from having poor technical skills, they also had very poor communication skills.  

 

Requirement

•                     Excellent communication skills is a must.   This is not a sit at your desk with your head down and develop position.  This person will be interacting with all team members within my group, plus IT infrastructure, architecture, business, etc.

•                     At least 15 years of total work experience with 5 or more as a lead/senior team member.  

•                     At least 5 years of  work experience in large companies in the U.S., Japan, or Europe.  Someone with experience in a company that has similar enterprise wide processes, structures, etc. will be helpful with working in our organization

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

•                     Lead developer working on Multiple internet and extranet applications

•                     Excellent Communication Skills

•                     Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Software Development

•                     IBM Web Content Management (WCM) architecture and development.

•                     IBM WebSphere Portal Development

•                     Patterns – deep familiarity and how to apply

•                     Portlets – portal lifecycle, inter-portlet communication

•                     JSR 168 and 286

•                     Spring Framework

•                     Hibernate

•                     MVC

•                     JavaScript

•                     XML, XSLT, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX

•                     Expertise in Knowledge of SOAP and/or REST based services (XML, JSON).

•                     Experience in SQL and DBMS platforms (e.g. Oracle).

•                     Familiarity with JUnit and Selenium to create and run unit test cases.
