Quality Assurance Testing experience
3+ Years Automation
Direct experience working with Core Java programming
Yes, they must be able to write code in Core Java.  (They don't need to be Software Engineer level) Almost all work is API or back-end.
Test Automation experience (they are not specific about the tools b/c they haven't chosen one yet, but Selenium would be right up their alley)
Manual Testing experience as well, since they are still doing both
Write Unit Tests in Java
Integration tests in Java
Some Manual Testing
Want to be Automating and moving into Continuous Integration
Working knowledge of SDLC best practices
Experience with Relational database systems, including SQL query development.  

Preferred:
Experience testing web service (REST and SOAP) using tools like SOAP UI and Soap Scope
Experience with Relational database systems, including SQL query development.  

They are in a Linux environment. Also utilizing SQL, XML, JSON, Web Services (SOAP, REST)
