Position: QA Analyst Lead with Mobile Testing Exp

 

Location: Boca Raton, Florida

Duration: Long term

 

Summary: This role will be located onshore and working with the Tyco IS IT Mobility project team supporting the Install Mobility Build phase project. Duties include coordinating all functional and performance testing of the Install mobility application as required by the Phase 1 feature set.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

•     Coordinate all testing activities

•       Modification of test cases for the Install Mobility application functional/business requirements

•     Manage and execute test cases through the HP Quality Center application

·        Test case execution utilizing an iPhone device and modern web browsers

·        Perform full regression testing of the Install Mobility application

•     Provide test case coverage, completion and defect reports

•     Provide QA Sign-off reports with detailed testing metrics

·        Amend test plan as required

·        Carry out performance testing

·        Collaborates with team members to resolve issues to assure the successful delivery of IT solutions

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

Education:  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience           

 

Experience:         5 - 7years performing quality assurance testing of web and mobile applications

 

Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories of own discipline and some knowledge of principles and concepts in other functions.  Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, concepts,  best practices and theories in mobile web development and web service oriented architectures.

Understands appropriate procedures, policies, practices, systems and regulations. 

Demonstrates business and organizational acumen of disciplines and client function.

Technical Skills required:

·        Ability to manage and execute QA projects using HP Quality Center

·        Ability to create and execute test plans and create defect reports using HP Quality Center

·        iPhone/iOS application testing

·        Create and execute performance testing scripts using HP Load Runner

·        Web application testing

·        Web Services Testing

·        Knowledge of JIRA bug tracking software

 

Non-technical skills:

·        Strong Software Quality Assurance Leadership skills

·        String Communication skills

·        Go-getter attitude – seeks out work

·        Outgoing personality

·        Able to work in a fast-paced, corporate environment
