Position: Liferay Developer

Looking for Java Developer who is strongly skilled in working with Liferay to join our client's team in the Chicago Loop!
Specific Required Knowledge / Skills
+ Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
+ At least 7+ years of total Java development experience with and 5+ years on Spring framework and 2+ years experience working with LifeRay
+ Excellent user interface design and implementation experience.
+ Strong experience in Oracle database should be able write good Oracle SQL queries.
+ Experience with LifeRay implementation on Tomcat on Linux platform.
+ Experience in LifeRay integration experience with LDAP.
+ Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Liferay Portal administration , including the following tasks:
o Installation and configuration of development and production environments
o Platform administration through the Control Panel
o Application design and development
o Strong hands-on experience in writing and deploying portlets, extensions, hooks and themes.
o HTML 5, CSS 3 and Javascript
+ Effective at analyzing business requirements and current system behavior and collaborating to create system design specification documents including functional specifications, system use cases, mock-ups, design models and so forth.
