Primary Skill (Technical Skill)     Network – IP Voice ( IP Telephony)

Secondary Skill (optional)           Contact Center Admin/Video Support/Unified Communication Admin

Experience Level             8 – 10 yrs

Location of Posting         Westlake, Texas

 

 

Role & Responsibilities               

•              Perform first level diagnosis, Proactive Monitoring, incident management using various Tools and processes.

•              KEDB and related documents updates.

•              Telephonic / Email / Web-based / Remote login support using knowledgebase repository, individual knowledge for the incident resolution.

•              Understand error logs, analyze the problems, do basic level Incident analysis and provide solutions to medium complexity IP Telephony issues.

•              Act as SPOC (Singe Point Of Contact) for customer and L2/L3 engineers till problem is resolved

 

Skills     Must have          Nice to Have

Technical Skills (Core & Top-Up)             

                Knowledge of IP Telephony, Telecom and Wireless network concepts and Monitoring tools like Prognosis, Solar winds etc.

•              Ability to understand network troubles / faults in one or more of the following domains/Technology:

o             CISCO IPT/ Avaya/Nortel IPT

•              Exposure to Voice Switching: TDM, VoIP, Call processing,            •              Exposure to CISCO Unified Communication Solution  Implementation and administration

•              H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination

•              Video Collaboration and Unified communication

•              ITIL Process

Process & Tools               

•              Remote system administration

•              Understand the Incident, Change & Problem management         •              Vendor Management

Behavioral Skill               

•              Fair Written & Verbal Communication Skills

•              Good team player

•              Ready to work on 24*7 environment      •              Experience of handling global customers
