Job Description:

Position: Oracle DBA

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Duration: 6+ months

Required Qualifications:

5+ years experience working with mission critical Oracle databases in a high profile type of organization.

5+ year experience in the following areas: Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution.

Experience with performance and Disaster Recovery testing.

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.

The candidate should have strong experience on RAC and should have worked on building servers in his/her last project.

 

Preferred Qualification:

Experience in Unix OS and other DBMS platforms such as SQLServer and EssBase.

Experience with Oracle 11G/R2.12 c preferable

 

Education:

Minimum Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
