Job Description:

Position: Senior ETL/Ab Initio Developer Location: Herndon, VA Hourly rate: 55/hr Longevity: Contract 6 months + Travel: None Openings: 1   Senior ETL/Ab Initio Developer Seeking a senior level ETL/Ab Initio Developer with 5+ years of relevant technical and lead experience to act as a development lead and perform high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate will also resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles. In addition, you will be responsible for performing configuration repository administration including software, streams & directories creation, and source code archiving. You will be required to manage the software product configuration including generation of product, component baselines, and tracking, and for developing and maintaining user software configuration management guides while providing support and training to enforce Software Configuration Management principals. To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with the following: • Prior experience in a development lead role • 5+ years of technical hands-on experience with ETL/Ab Initio, Autosys, Oracle, UNIX Shell Scripting • Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Operating system administration skills (e.g. Solaris 2.8, UNIX, and Windows) • Knowledge of Java/J2EE, BO, JavaScript, and PL/SQL is a plus! • Strong written and verbal communication is required • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (Professional certification(s) and/or a Post-graduate degree is desired)
