I need a .Net/SQL Developer in Plano, Texas. 12 month contract with my client, North Texas Tollway. MUST BE LOCAL AND INTERVIEW FACE TO FACE!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

·         At least 5 years of .NET Development experience

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to provide Web Applications and software enhancements through development and support: 

• A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle related to the Define, Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases of a project (Iterative-waterfall type of project management):  Specific skills include but not limited to: 
• Refining given requirements into a design concept.
• The ability to work from use cases in order to build a solid solution.
• The ability to build design documents, effectively communicate (in writing) what needs to be done and gain approval.
• Proven experience in task management in developing, installing, upgrading, and maintaining associated web applications and batch processes.
• Release management, testing scripts, quality assurance and writing project documentation.
• Extensive knowledge is required in the following skills:
• .Net/C#
• ASP.Net
• XML
• SQL Server 2008
• UML Modeling
• Visio
• Other duties include:
• Release management, testing scripts, quality assurance and writing project documentation.
• Preferred – 'Nice to Have' Skills
• SQL Server Report Service
• SharePoint Technologies
