Duration:        12+ months

 Rate:               $48-$50 Hr

 

DataStage Developer with Java skills (80/20)

80% Datastage and 20% Java skills needed

 

Skills Needed:

·         5+ years of experience as a DataStage ETL developer

·         Experience in extracting, transforming and loading data into the warehouse using open source technology.

·         Experience with designing and integrating the ETL DataStage components and resolving data centric issues

·         Must have experience with data analysis efforts necessary to resolve the data issues encountered.

·         Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

·         Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

·         Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)

·         Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Experience in the Spring Framework

·         Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

·         Experience with test-driven development.
